Dunegrass is a four-piece group of friends who have been making music along the lakeshore for the last 12 years. They play upbeat and folksy sounding covers of a variety of music ranging from 70s country and 80s pop to current hits, and much more!

Cold Leather Seats is an Americana band from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Their sound has been described as “if the Zac Brown Band wrote a folk album.” Known for their raw, emotional storytelling their music explores love, longing, and the search for meaning. Blending folk, rock, and country influences, their music carries a sense of wanderlust—rooted in tradition yet constantly moving forward. Since their debut, Cold Leather Seats has built a reputation for powerful songwriting and intimate live performances. They’ve shared the stage with renowned artists, including Full Cord—winners of the 2022 Telluride Bluegrass Festival—Drew Hale, named ‘Best New Act in Country Music,’ as well as Rachael Davis, Michigan Rattlers, Armchair Boogie, and more. With every note, Cold Leather Seats invites listeners into a journey where past and present intertwine, and the open road stretches endlessly ahead. Fueled by faith, family, and the timeless power of music, they’re artistry speaks to the heart of the human experience.

Without boundary, without destination, this train is departing from the station! Built upon a foundation of grit, grind, and determination, One Ton Trolley delivers Roots Music from the Rustbelt; a genre melt, ripe with the sights, sounds, and smells of Southeast Michigan. Navigating the lines between folk, rock, country, blues, and bluegrass, pioneers traversing forward, honoring what’s come to pass. Like those who paved the way before them: building its rails, building it’s roads, building its automobiles which sprawled the nation; their labor of love is designed with intent, and crafted with care. Conducted by Bill Arnold (Guitars & Vocals), Chris Brown (Bass), Jon Johnson (Drums), and Larry Labeck (Pedal Steel). The Trolley infuses riveting harmonies, lush guitars, and powerful rhythms to conjure imagery of hardworking folk from all walks of life. Complimentary to everybody, while not sounding like anybody, delivering surging currents of Midwest electricity to be felt, held, and moved by. A no-frills, rustic-ride and reminder that what once was, shall be again.

In addition to our craft beer, coffee and wine selection, our kitchen will be open serving our full dinner menu until 9pm! Get here early to snag your favorite seat and grab a bite to eat before the show begins. Save money by getting discounted tickets online in advance.
The Stray is a listening room style venue and cafe, where performers are front and center, not background entertainment. We frequently ask attendees to silence their phones and keep conversations low out of respect to performers and other audience members.
